Implementation
YIP works best when the launch is small enough to be understood. The first month is about a named lead, a manageable staff group and one real priority—not a long list of features.
Plan
Confirm participating schools, central sponsorship, school leads and the trust-wide outcomes you want to support.
Prepare
Run one practical onboarding session and provide a simple launch plan they can use with their own staff.
Launch
Invite staff in manageable groups and begin with one relevant resource, tool or shared action in each setting.
Review
School leads download aggregate termly reports; the trust reviews patterns without receiving personal questions, answers or notes.
Each school keeps its own workspace and school-level reporting. A central trust contact coordinates rollout, licence changes and exported termly summaries without opening up private staff content across settings.
A year with YIP
This is a starting rhythm, not a prescribed programme. Schools can begin at any point and change the focus as their context changes.
Term 1
Agree the trust-wide theme while allowing each school to choose the local barrier and action that matter most.
Term 2
School leads review implementation, share useful practice and keep confidential staff or pupil material inside the right setting.
Term 3
Use exported school summaries and professional discussion to shape next year’s focus and onboarding.
Reporting
School owners and organisation administrators can see active staff, resources assigned and completed, actions completed, guided-tool completion totals and evidence activity for a selected term.
The downloadable report contains totals only. It never includes staff names, pupil information, Assistant questions, guided-tool answers or evidence-note wording.
